Site Objectives

First, and most importantly, we created the site because we wanted to see for ourselves how the pieces of our lives fit together--if, in fact, they do. As Phil has said entirely too often, we wrote (and continue to write) so we can be confident of what we know.

Second, we see the site as a resource for our extended family, a place for all those great folks of the "next generation" to share with the rest of the family photos about the significant and/or joyous events of their lives.

Third, we (okay, Phil) see it as a way to publish a 3rd edition of our cookbook. As that project has grown to nearly 150 entries, hardcopy printing and duplication were looming as serious obstacles to completing the task.

Fourth, the site will give Brimberry Consulting a Web presence, however modest.

Fifth, we (okay, Phil, again) wanted to confront the low-level details of Web site design, creation, and management. To learn by failing.
